Media Coverage - Inauguration of Sri Sathya Sai Divyasmṛti (a digital experience centre) at Bengaluru
Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri Basavaraj Bommai inaugurated on Thursday, November 3, 2022, “Sri Sathya Sai Divyasmriti”, a completely digital experience centre on the life and teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The Centre is spread over 4,850 sq.ft and located at ‘Brindavan’, Sri Sathya Sai Baba Ashram, Kadugodi, White Field. Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust commissioned the project to commemorate its golden jubilee and it was executed by Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre, Prasanthi Nilayam, with support from Tagbin, Gurugram.
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was born in Puttaparthi and in His 86 years of earthly sojourn, He touched and transformed the lives of millions. The Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust continues to run absolutely free super specialty hospitals, schools, colleges and so on. More than providing basic amenities of life, Bhagawan has inspired hundreds and thousands to take to selfless service and practice universal love where there is no distinction between caste, class, religion, etc.
Bhagawan travelled extensively, covering more than 3,00,000 kms and visiting several villages, cities and towns of India exhorting the masses to follow the path of Truth, Righteousness, Peace and Love.
This digital museum is an attempt to capture and present this saga of selfless love and service, and inspire goodness and human values in the current generation.
State-of-the-art digital tools have been used extensively to recreate archived footages and images.
The experience centre is both, informative and interactive, and the exhibits come in different digital formats. Photos, videos, and audio clips bring to life the teachings, visits, projects, messages and landmark events from the life of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
The digital museum has touch walls, personalised audio guides in multiple languages, and multi-media zones.
It will be open to the public from November 9, 2022.
