Loving Sai Ram and Greetings from Prasanthi Nilayam. The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India with the support of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning & its alumni is initiating a program entitled “Grooming for Excellence - The Sri Sathya Sai Way” in an attempt to support the committed and aspirational career goals of children between age of 16 & 17 years (11th & 12th class). Around 6200 students across southern states have registered for the program. More than 360 master trainers have been selected to undertake this seva who have gathered at Prasanthi Nilayam to undergo a two-day training at SSSIHL. It is interesting to note that some of them have not even seen Bhagawan physically and are making their first trip to Puttaparthi. After offering the program brochure at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet at Sai Kulwant Hall in the morning, the participants assembled in the Seminar Hall, SSSIHL. 3 speakers viz. Dr B Sai Giridhar(Registrar, SSSIHL), Dr CB Sanjeevi (Vice Chancellor, SSSIHL) and Sri RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee, SSSCT) addressed the gathering delving on Social Relevance, Leadership qualities, National Character building. The programme has three aspects viz. Awareness, Academic and Admission. Under the Awareness programme, students will be motivated and moulded to lead a meaningful and value-based life. Needy students will be helped to improve their academic standards. Also, students will be briefed about the unique features of SSSIHL. The Vidya Vahini team will be training the students in communicative English.
