With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, two new fully automated roti making machines were inaugurated at the North Indian Canteen and South Indian Canteen inside the Ashram by Sri RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee, SSS Central Trust) along with Sri GG Shukla (Trustee, SSS Sadhana Trust) Sri P Krishna Kumar (CFO, SSSST) and Sri Viney Thakar (Head, Operations, SSSST) The dough that’s prepared in the dough making vessel is fed into the machine. The pre set dough balls are then cut through a pneumatic cutter operated by compressed air. These balls pass through a conveyor roller system where they get flattened into round shaped rotis and get fed onto hot plates. The rotis get cooked on both sides when they pass over over the chain conveyor with fire and finally get collected in the tray. Around 2000 rotis can be made in an hour.
