Inaugural and Induction Ceremony of NLP - Arohan Batch 2023 The inaugural session of the Sri Sathya Sai National Leadership Programme for Sai Young Adults of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India was held this morning at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam Campus. More than 450 new candidates have registered this year for this free online course. This National Leadership Program is a 9-month curriculum which equips the young Sai messengers with knowledge, skill, and virtues to deal with the challenges and conflicts of real life by connecting within and striving for positive change in oneself as well as in the society around us. The induction program for this year’s batch ‘Arohan’ began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony amidst vedam chanting by the revered dignitaries Sri RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee, SSSCT) Sri Nimish Pandya (AIP, SSSSO) Sri B Sai Giridhar (VC, SSSIHL) Sri Pallav Baruah (Registrar, SSSIHL) Sri Gopi Pidtala & Sri Yoginder Verma. Sri RJ Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of SSSCT, spoke to all young participants for almost an hour reminding them that Bhagawan always told us that our conscience is our true master and guide. He urged them to be alert to the lessons that life teaches us and learn from them to transform oneself so that it leads to individual and societal good. He also asked them to spend at least 15 minutes everyday on contemplating on their own self and discover the new individual that is born each day within them. The dignitaries then released a book titled “Prerana” - compilation of experiences of the alumni of NLP batches.
