On the auspicious occasion of Buddha Poornima, several devotees from Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India and Sri Sathya Sai Global Council Zone 4 & 5 countries consisting of Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Brunei Vietnam, Japan, Hong Kong and China have gathered here at Prasanthi Nilayam. As part of the proceedings, the venerable monks offered their obeisances to Swami in a ceremonial procession amidst Narasiha Gatha followed by Sacred Buddhist Chants. The dignitaries and elders then performed the traditional abhishekam to the Lord Buddha Idol that was placed in front of Bhagawan’s Sannidhi. The theme of this year is ‘Recognising the Buddha Nature within us’.
