The Managing Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Sri RJ Rathnakar, is embarking on a 4 day trip to Karnataka taking the Mission of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba forward.
After inspecting the lakes rejuvenation project at Neelavani in Uttara Kannada Dist. the entourage moved to Dharwad where a new educational campus - 'Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Mandir' was inaugurated by Sri RJ Rathnakar along with Sri Krishnakanth, Superintendent of Police, Dharwad Dist. amidst the presence of revered office bearers and dignitaries of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Karnataka. Sri Krishnakanth also happens to be an alumnus of Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas programme.
The campus has classes from LKG to 10th standard along with Intermediate (Pre University) courses and Degree courses exclusively for women. Built by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust with a budget of 15 crores, the institution pledges to offer quality education coupled with value based teachings.
Walking around the campus, interacting with the children who had displayed some exhibition items, the guests moved on to inaugurate a new sports complex - 'Sri Sathya Sai Kreedangana' for these students. A grand arch welcoming the entire campus was christened as 'Sri Sathya Sai Mahadwaar'.
Later, a new skill development centre was inaugurated by Sri RJ Rathnakar in yet another remote village. After distributing essential commodities to these people, the guests prayed for their well being and wished them good luck in being self sufficient by learning these new skills.
Even as the weather seemed to interrupt with rains, the Devotional singing and Vedic chants by the scores of devotees gathered there made it appear like HIS Divine Blessings.
