The first evening of the ongoing 2-day Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas Guru’s Meet today featured an impressive rally showcasing the glorious culture and tradition of the grand Movement and that pf Bharat Mata, a chief guest speech and twin cultural presentations at the Sanctum Sanctorum in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Chief Guest for the session was Prof. K. Nirupa Rani, Founder Vice Chancellor of Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajahmundry. Herself a role model teacher who gave her cent percent for her profession, the experience educationist hailed the Balvikas movement as the best as it allows children to grow independently, with self-confidence that leads to self-realisation. Childhood is a wonderful phase that has to be dealt with great care, said the speaker, advocating for promoting inner refinement, a thing that our educational system fails to grant after aping western models. Congratulating the Balvikas teachers for their yeomen service, Prof. Nirupa Rani exhorted them to re-dedicate to the Mission of Bhagawan.
Bhakta Rakshaka Sayiesha, a dance programme, by Sri Sathya Sai Balvikas, Kurnool followed next, before a final drama presentation by SSSBV – Cuddapah and Anantapur.
Bhajans continued and the session ended with Mangala Arathi to Bhagawan.
